On June 4, 1942, American naval aviators launched into one of the most consequential battles of World War II. Among them were six men whose leadership, courage, and sacrifice helped turn the Battle of Midway into a decisive American victory: Wade McClusky, Max Leslie, Eugene Lindsey, Lance Massey, John Waldron, and Richard Best.
